Galette des rois (January): A popular tradition in France that takes place in January. A loaf of bread is baked with a bean inside; the person who finds the bean is crowned king of the day King cake (January): The tradition of the King Cake originated in New Orleans, where a person cuts a piece of cake hoping to find the plastic baby inside. The recipient of the plastic baby is 'crowned' King or Queen for the day Heart-shaped cookies, french macarons, chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, and truffles are available around Valentine's Day Heart-shaped cakes are available around Valentine's Day Hamantash (Purim): Triangular cookies filled with apricot, raspberry or poppy seed. Round challah (Rosh Hashanah): Available in plain, poppy, sesame, raisin, raisin & poppy, raisin & sesame, and dried fruit varieties. One pound loaves. Yule log (December): A rich, traditional Christmastime cake shaped to resemble a yule log. Available in various flavors and sizes; call to order.
